These are my experiments on video techniques on pan, tilt, track and dolly.
Whats working in the pan shot is the camera is quite steady on the subject when moving. Whats not working is the subject in not in the frame correctly. I need to work on the amount of space behind the subject while panning.
Whats working with the tilt shot is that the camera is tilting up and down correctly. Whats not working is not adding a second subject to what the first subject is viewing. I could add other subjects in the sequence.
Tracking, following the subject. I am using a car for the tracking which worked quite well for this shot. Whats not working in this tracking shot is the same with the panning shot, the subject is not correctly in the frame. There is too much space behind the subject.
Dolly zoom shot I wasn't happy with. Whats not working is the camera was not steady in both dolly shots, the zooming was not right, the camera was fire hosing.The camera was not entirely focused on the subject. The subject did not stay its same point position. I need to work on steadying the camera so the subject in the frame is still the same size when the camera is moving forwards and backwards while in zooming motion.
