Bewitched Park by
Leonid Afremov
Palette knife, oil painting on canvas.
Leonid Afremov is a professional oil painter from Mexico.
He would be the first to master the palette knife at what he does.
He uses brilliant bright vibrint colors in his exquisite, outstanding detailed works. Afremov gets his inspirations from his inner world and brings it out onto canvas. This is an incredable piece from artist Afremov not just the one but many of his works. It has a realism look and the lighting is amazing, makes me feel cold. It riminds me of winters night in nz, the wet smooth pavement glitters with the street lamps and moonlight shinning gently onto the pavement due to the rain. The reflection that can be seen on the smooth pavement of trees and street lamps are extroadinary.

Shiprock storm by
Mitch Dobrowner.
Navaja Nation, New Mexico. 2008.
A N.Y photographer Mitch Dobrowner takes photographs of ancient structures, he feels honored to capture such extraordinary places that has been arround for thousand of years, places that has seen and witness much. Capturing their images in a manner that he inwardly experience. Once he feels "in touch" he waits patiently for the right lighting and weather conditions. Dobrowner likes working with B&W photograph images, b&w interprets reality the way he see and feel. Dobrowner don't see the work as just pure landscape photography, also as an excercise in light, form, and capturing the drama and intensity that these naturally beautiful landscapes deserve. This image makes me feel like wanting to be in its presence to witness one of natures most beautiful ancient structures myself.

Drawing restraint by
Agnes Cecile
Rome.
I see three faces, lines, black and white painting.
This portrait painting by artist Agnes Cecile (aka Silvia Pslissero) has a deep motional intense feeling to it, this person looks stressful, trying to rip out some of his/her inner unwanted feelings and disgaurd it forever. Kind of reminds me of a digital game I played once, a male riping out his soul, this image has the look alike. Cecile uses watercolours, most of her works reveal symbolic subjects giving it another dimension of character to be admired by the viewer. Cecile uses a variety of application techniques to create visual interest to her paintings. Her watercolours are constructions wild and the lines that form an emotionally expressive portrait of the subject  Every painting is unique, and yet each of them expresses the artist style. She captures a certain subtlety emotions, strong but restrained feeling appears to lurk just behind many of her portraits eyes, a certain understatedness that pairs well with her medium.

Charcoal on canvas by
KwangHo Shin
2013.
I see a young girl, black and white, half of face has been smudged from nose down.
Kwangho Shin is a young south Korean artist best known for his abstraction paintings. Working with oil paint, acrylic and charcoal. In his paintings and drawings, Shin attempts to capture the complex relationship between the expression of emotion and the experiment of the mind. With roots abstract expressionism, he employs intense and vibrant oils juxtapose with charcoal to distort the facial features of his subjects and confront them psychologically. Faces are deconstructed but retain the power of expression as the artist reimagines them in a patchwork of carefully yet energetically apply strokes of colour.

Colours of lake Oesa by
Michael O'toole
Date unknown.
Michael O'toole from Vancouver, British Colombia born 1963. His love for design led him to explore his creativity in variety in media including watercolours, graphite, pen and ink, gouache and acrylics. Currently focusing on acrylic, his diverse subject matter ranges from landscape and seascape, to architecture and portraiture. Michael believes that his paintings reflect a balance of emotion and technical skill. Painting has become an "all consuming passion". His canvas prints are published by Canadian art prints and are sold in print galleries around the world with much acclaimed success. I like his acrylic on canvas pieces, I love nature, landscapes and seascapes, they give me calm relaxing feeling. I don't think of anything else, I'm more focused on the scenery and the freshness of the air. The sound of nature drifts me into a state where I do not want to be disturbed, ever.
